eCommerce Development - DNA Organics

The Client

DNA Organics is an award winning organic hair care products manufacturer based in Sydney. The company was started by Tony Awad in the mid 90’s when he created his first organic shampoo and conditioner while using ingredients right from his mother’s kitchen pantry and  garden. The idea was to create something that used as much food ingredients as possible without any harsh chemicals.

Almost 25 years down the road, the company is still going strong and distributes its products to hundreds and thousands of hair salons across Australia.

The Job

Given that DNA Organics utilises B2B channels to distribute its products, it was getting quite cumbersome for the company to take orders manually.

To add to the problems, there was no fixed sequence of products that allowed the order fulfilment team to move across the warehouse to pack orders efficiently.

The Result

We developed a B2B section for DNA Organics that allowed their trade customer to place their orders digitally, make payments and track the delivery status of their outstanding orders amongst other things.

We developed a functionality that allowed the team at DNA Organics to arrange the sequence of the products on the order list to match the placement of products within the warehouse. This had been a big pain point for the client previously as it led to wastage of time and resources.
